Rebar Placement by Two Points
In Revit 2022, you can put rebars of exact dimensions—aligned to any evidence in the project—with just 2 ticks. This decreases the number of steps required to create bars carefully and precisely. This feature is huge for rebar modeling, and it is a true game-changer for rebar detailers operating in Revit. This new way of placing rebar develops Revit’s ease of use and your productivity in modeling reinforced concrete details, both cast-in-place, and precast.
Move Rebar in a Set
Revit 2022 updates rebar modeling and detailing for structural engineers and detailers, creating it easier for you to move from detached CAD workflows to BIM, allowing you to model and detail faster and more precisely.
- You can now transfer or remove individual bars in rebar sets or area and path reinforcement methods to avoid conflicts with other rebars, openings, or other elements—while managing the logic of the rebar set or system.
- There is no requirement to divide a set into multiple sets or to remove path and area reinforcement systems-workflows that were complicated and time-consuming.
- Multiple sets or systems can be selected at the same time.
This unique feature will significantly increase your efficiency and productivity in modeling specific reinforcement in cast-in-place and precast cement structures. to know and learn about Revit join our Revit Structure online training course in Delhi.
Rebar Performance Improvements
An added rebar reward for the 2022 release is observed in Revit, which comes with advanced rebar performance in 2D views when zooming, panning when the recovery happens.
These production improvements are remarkable when displaying rebar in any 2D views in Fine detail. In an examination of “problematic” 2D views, the regeneration time dropped from minutes to 3-4 seconds, Revit 2022 gives better rebar production than ever before.
Infrastructure Enhancements
In Revit 2022, Revit families built using the general model family template can be attached to the Bridge and Road sections and subcategories (e.g. Abutments, Piers, and many more). These families can host rebar, can be described as cuttable in views, can be scheduled and tagged, and so on.
Revit 2022 also gives small enhancements to alliance stationing:
- Prefixes and suffixes may be attached to alignment station text
- Flip controls have been added to the alliance station label
- The true start and end positions of an alignment are now displayed in the Revit API to help automate bridge design
These improvements offer improved abilities and flexibility for infrastructure workflows in Revit 2022.
Show Wall Core Only in Plan Views
In past releases, it was time-consuming to hide the non-core panels of walls on plan designs. Revit 2022 presents a parameter to help you present only the wall core layers quickly and easily.
In the Clarity/Graphics dialog box, deselect the new Non-Core Layers option available below Walls to display a simplified description of walls in your 2D views. Wall layers located within the core boundaries of the wall assembly will continue visible. This feature increases your productivity by helping you immediately create easier-to-read plan views in Revit. to know and learn about Revit join our Revit Structure online training course in Delhi.
